How we designed and built the guestroom furniture for Sukasha Hotel: headboards, platform beds, wardrobes and TV consoles built for daily hotel use.
Hotel furniture has a tougher job than home furniture. It is used by different guests every night, cleaned every day, and still has to look fresh in the photos on booking websites. For Sukasha Hotel, Bosk Furniture took the guestrooms from bare shell to a warm, guest-ready finish. Here is a look at what went into the project, and what any hotel or guest-house owner should plan for.
The brief
The goal was a rich, boutique-hotel look that would still be practical for housekeeping and hold up to constant use. Our team handled the space planning and the complete furniture fit-out, balancing durable, easy-to-maintain materials with a warm, welcoming design.
What is in each room
- A cushioned leatherette headboard with vertical channel detailing
- A low platform bed
- Floor-to-ceiling wardrobes with slim matte-black handles
- A floating TV console with concealed storage
- Wood-grain panelling that ties the bed wall, wardrobes and console together
Every unit was custom-built and fitted on site by Bosk for a clean, gap-free finish. You can see the photos on the Sukasha Hotel project page.
The design idea: one warm, continuous composition
Instead of separate pieces of furniture, each room is designed as one composition. Warm wood-grain laminates carry across the wardrobes, the wall panelling and the wall-hung TV console, set against soft beige and deep rust feature walls. Framed art and layered warm lighting, with recessed spotlights and a continuous LED cove around the ceiling, complete the look.
The headboard is the hero of the room. It is the first thing a guest sees, and the shot that appears in almost every booking photo.
Materials chosen for heavy use
- Wood-grain laminates: they resist scratches, clean easily and look identical in every room, which matters when a hotel has many rooms to match.
- Leatherette headboards: comfortable to lean against and easy to wipe clean between guests.
- Wall-hung TV console: housekeeping can clean the floor underneath in seconds.
- Plywood cores and branded hardware: Bosk builds its modular furniture on marine-grade IS:710 plywood with Hettich hardware. In a hotel, wardrobe doors and drawers are opened by hundreds of different guests, so this is where quality shows.
Built in the factory, fitted on site
All the furniture was manufactured in our own factory in Bhavnagar and then installed at the hotel. Factory production keeps every room consistent, cuts down the dust and noise on site, and shortens the time the rooms are out of service.
Planning furniture for a hotel or guest house: a checklist
- Durability: laminates and sealed edges that survive luggage bumps and daily cleaning.
- Housekeeping: wall-hung pieces, no dust traps and wipe-clean surfaces.
- Luggage: a luggage bench or an open section in the wardrobe, so guests don't unpack onto the bed.
- Power and lighting: switches and charging points beside the bed, and TV wiring hidden in the wall.
- Consistency: one design repeated accurately in every room, with spare parts easy to match later.
- Character: a strong headboard or feature wall gives the room its identity in photos.

Frequently asked questions
Do you make hotel furniture outside Bhavnagar?
Yes. We are based in Bhavnagar and deliver custom furniture across Gujarat and India. Share your room plans for a quote.
Can every hotel room have exactly the same furniture?
Yes. Because the furniture is made in our factory, the same design can be repeated accurately across many rooms.
What materials are best for hotel furniture?
Durable, easy-to-clean surfaces such as wood-grain laminates and leatherette, on a strong plywood core with quality hardware.
How long does a hotel furniture fit-out take?
It depends on the number of rooms. The furniture is built in our factory first, so the work on site is short, and we share a timeline with the quote.
